The Climate Crisis … Of 536 AD

Earth’s climate is always changing. But despite the warming hysterics’ wild claims, it’s not changing at an alarming rate. Remember, when they cite United Nations reports warning of soaring temperatures and rising sea levels, the projections cover many decades, not just a few years. Of course there was a moment when the climate did change rapidly. It was so long ago, though, none of us can remember it.

Yet it happened. Many centuries before the first oil well was drilled. Almost 1,500 years ago.

The foundation of the global warming obsession on the left is largely based on U.N. predictions that assign significant but unrealistic increases in global temperatures and sea level due to increasing levels of CO2 in our atmosphere.

For instance, the U.N. has said the global temperature could increase over a range from 4.5 degrees Celsius to 6 degrees Celsius some time between 2081 to 2100. It has also said sea levels could rise 2 meters by 2100. Neither is possible, says H. Sterling Burnett, director of the Heartland Institute’s climate and environment center. Both would require us “to burn every molecule of fossil fuel and more” than can be found on Earth.

Not only are these worst-case-scenario estimates that will never unfold, the disasters predicted are far into the future, meaning the numbers so easily tossed around are useful for only one thing: scaring the public and ramming through expensive and worthless green legislation.

Despite the assurances from the fanatics that we’re heading into, or are already in, a crisis in which the climate abruptly shifts, even their ugliest fever dreams can’t compare to what happened in 536 AD.

According to the History Of Yesterday:

From the research done by scientists, it is said that AD 536 was the coldest year in the last 2300 years, which made the winter season a survival season for most cultures. Contemporary scholars also tell us that it is not only the fact that it was a really cold winter that made it a bad year but also many strange events where the climate changed all of a sudden.

During this period of sudden climate change, it snowed in China during the summer, South America endured three months of heavy rain followed by three months of drought, and famine was apparently widespread enough to  contribute “to the collapse of many cultures around the world.”

Science says it was “the worst year to be alive.”

Some researchers blame volcanic activity for the miserable weather of 536. Others aren’t convinced. We can rule out human fossil fuel use, however. The first oil well wasn’t sunk into the ground until the 1850s.

Don’t expect the facts don’t stop, or even slow, the march of the warming zealots. They will continue to say we are in or close to unprecedented change that will result in catastrophe, and will accept no other explanations for a global temperature increase (that’s far from anything to worry about), bad weather, drought, and wildfires other than anthropogenic greenhouse gas emissions.

It’s not scientific, it’s not rational, it’s not reasonable. Which is why the climate ideologues are closer cousins to the witches and sorcerers of 536 than today’s serious scientists.

  • Repeat the Big Lie often enough, and it will be believed. Like calling every storm, warm spell and weather event proof of climate change. The 2020/21/22 Big Lie that vaxxes provide COVID protection, stop virus transmission and are totally safe worked very well; helped along by a media propaganda machine and massive big-tech/social media censorship. COVID was proof-of-concept that fear, censorship, propaganda and police state tactics can lockdown whole economies. With COVID waning, the Marxist left has transitioned to flying their climate change war banner to continue the fight against freedom and capitalism. Can hardly blame the Marxist left, as COVID and the 2020 election were so easy. Might as well go full-steam ahead with global temperature nonsense and the demonstrably false CO2-temperature correlation scam. Plus the rubes are too ignorant to realize that the answer shines brightly above their heads: Namely, small changes in solar output from the sun can cause global warming and cooling on planet Earth. Think about it. When volcanic sulfates and ash turn the sky dark, the Earth also grows cooler.

Volcanoes spewing sulfates provide episodic global cooling. Like Krakatoa east of Java, which provided several years of dark skies, global cooling and famine in recent times. If humans quit scrubbing clean coal and fossil fuels to remove sulfate emissions, we would get more cooling. In other words, we can induce cooling by adding back sulfates to fossil fuels any time we want. But perhaps the Marxist Democrats have a grander plan. Namely, making the USA/NATO war against Russia a two-fer: Global USA dominance plus provoking a nuclear winter to cool the planet. I hope not, but I would not put it past them.

  • The press and the global warming crowd deliberately suppress the fact that ANTARCTICA has had record cold, snow and ice accumulation for decades. Even the last few years, ANTARCTICA cold, snow and ice have hit record numbers. The number of catastrophic hurricanes and tornadoes has dwindled the last couple of decades. The oceans have not risen appreciably other than the normal waxing and waning of ice melt and evaporation cycles. If you try to google it, the first few pages will be pro global warming but when you drill down to the more reputable “scientific” sites it says no global warming. Also droughts, cold snaps, and weather extremes are the rule all throughout recorded history. There are records clear back to the 1400’s verifying this fact. One has to dig for this data because the political and globalists agenda has big-tech, the leftist media, et al working at sequestering real facts as the “Brown Shirts” did for Hitler. Most folks don’t even go past the first page and these hyena Globalists at google know this.

Lastly, look up the sun-spot cycle which is an eleven year cycle. The weather patterns on earth are affected profoundly by this cycle.

They try to explain it away with all kinds of mental gymnastics but it doesn’t pass the smell test. Funny one never hears of this, but then again suppression of reality by ideologues is commonplace.

The so-called doomed Great Barrier Reef is thriving and growing.

  • The climate – space – that earth travels through is 450 degrees below zero. Global warming is the least of our climate problems.

  • “The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by an endless series of hobgoblins, most of them imaginary.” H.L. Mencken.

  • I’m sick and tired of the trumpturdian extreme far right attacking the United States of America and the Democratic party.
    Sick.
    And.
    Tired.
