I & I Editorial BoardA jury of shills rather than a jury of peers found Donald Trump guilty of 34 counts of … what were the crimes again? Doesn’t matter. The Democrats got the verdict they were looking for. And it wasn’t justice on their minds. They wanted retribution. They wanted to hang an anchor around Trump’s neck during the campaign. They wanted the equivalent of a political execution.
They got it all.
Yet they still want more.
The Democratic Party is now officially the party of Stalin. Its operatives and functionaries have long tilted much closer to Sovietism than Adam Smith and Thomas Jefferson. Today they have fallen fully into the arms of Uncle Joe. Maybe it’s merely a coincidence that the titular head of the party is also known as Uncle Joe.
The parallels aren’t perfect. The former Uncle Joe – Joseph Stalin – used show trials “for gaining absolute power by employing police repression against opposition elements within the Communist Party.”
The latter Uncle Joe, who just might be a puppet of his former White House boss, helped orchestrate the Trump show trials as a means to stamp out the political opposition. And by that we mean more than just Trump but any and all who are not disposed to give the Democrats everything they want.
Trump is unlikely to be incarcerated. No gulag for him. A former prosecutor and defense attorney told the New York Post that “there is a very decent chance he’s looking at a probationary sentence.” But the message, which will continue with the other show trials the Democrats have planned for him, is clear. They mean to obtain raw political power by the most base and fearsome means possible.
It’s a missive intended to burrow, like a bunker buster, all the way down to every voter in this country. Everyone who is thinking about putting a Trump sign in their yard or bumper sticker on their car. Every current donor and every potential donor. Everyone who might let it slip in a social setting that they will support Trump. It’s a notice to all the deplorables and bitter clingers and “poor souls who are looking for some answers.”
Remember, as Trump said, “they’re not after me, they’re after you and I just happen to be standing in the way.”
We can still vote in this country, even though it is the Democrats who want to rig elections and establish a regime in which they hold unchallengeable permanent power. It’s time for the never-Trumpers to put aside whatever their objections are and join those who still hope to follow the founders’ vision of liberty and resist the Democrats’ sovietized progressive agenda.
We ask the same of Democrats who are painfully learning what their party is about, and independents who are also noticing that the political left believes in using brute force to get its way. Putting the current White House occupant back in for another four years is a threat to our republic. Remember what he is doing to the country and vote the scoundrel out.

This seems very stupid. After all the reversible errors made on the part of the judge? It should be reversed. Period. Anything less is simply giving Democrats what they want — the power to choose their opposition. No free nation can allow that.
If Democrats had any sense at all they would have made all of these so-called prosecutions squeaky clean; no partisan judges, neutral venue, actually spell out the crime in the indictment, put together an impartial jury, and absolutely no collusion with the Biden White House. But instead, showing us all the contempt they have for us it has been the most biased series of spectacles I could ever imagine seeing.
Regarding Donald Trump’s statement that “they are after you; I’m just in the way.”
Keep in mind that the current occupant of the White House crafted an executive order to seize control of AI “for the benefit of the government” and not for the benefit of the nation. This makes the idea of them hunting down everybody that is not a part of their regime scary.
Democrats have proved beyond all doubt that they are not worthy of governing America. The justice branch of the US Government appears fully broken. Americans would be better off to hire thugs to take care of their problems rather than spend money on dishonest lawyers and go before dishonest judges. Your honor has no honor. Americans should reject the entire justice branch in its entirety!
This is the Left’s version of what they had called an insurrection.; only this is a REAL insurrection.
The probable main challenger of the Republican Party was convicted in what’s a Saturday Night Live travesty of American jurisprudence, which, in my opinion, has more in common with lynch-law practices of earlier years.
Trump was not only convicted for a felony crime that wasn’t even defined, but also, the predicate crime (which had 4 elements, ruled the judge), didn’t even have to be unanimously agreed upon.
The judge allowed for a 25% rendering of guilt on the predicate crime in order to consider the felony crime.
Talk about habeas corpus law, it could only be rendered as legal in a Manhattan, NY court by such a rabidly and vicious caricature of legal decorum, Judge Mechan.
Moreover, the DOJ is being used by the Biden Administration, ie the befuddled and dementia ridden Biden-and his flack hirees, to eradicate any main political challengers. They are doing this by taking all of Trump’s resources, ie. money, time energy. And the most important of all-at least the MSM use to deem it so-Speech!
And, of course, since all taxpayers pay for the DOJ, Trump supporters are paying the DOJ zealouts to prosecute and persecute Trump.
Meanwhile, Trump cannot even speak to the unfairness, due to the gag order the political snail judge Merchan of NY (whose slime tracks are apparent to every fair minded person) has put on him.
This is the true insurrection of our Constitutionally Mandated Republic.
The Left Wing/Progressive fanatics who are engaged in this treason are nothing but traitors and should be recognized as the “election interference” swine and anti-democratic “Animal Farm” pigs that they are.
You know that the DOJ has no jurisdiction over the NY District Attorney, right? Even if they did, how would you explain Biden pushing for the Trump prosecution in NYC and doing nothing to help his son in Delaware? You guys are always saying that Biden is both an inept, senile, doddering old man on the one hand, and has the entire Justice Department and New York City legal apparatus in his iron grip! Not only that, but the same people who think Trump should have unlimited immunity and could send Seal Team 6 to kill his political adversaries if he wanted to are freaking out about this supposed hit that Biden put on Trump when “he sent the FBI to Mara Lago. I mean really. Pull yourselves together and get your stories straight.
