Biden Confesses To A Big Lie, And Nobody Notices … Not Even Joe

In a 19-word post on X this past Sunday, President Joe Biden admitted that he has been lying to the public for years. It didn’t make news, partly because Biden is now irrelevant. But it should. Because Kamala Harris is now repeating the lie.

“Since I took office,” Biden posted, “we’ve recovered all the jobs lost during the pandemic. And added over 6 million more.”

Why Biden, or whoever on his staff was running his X feed, decided to post this on a Sunday is anyone’s guess.

Whatever the reason, it went almost entirely overlooked. We came across it courtesy of RedState, which highlighted the post, along with a response from the Trump campaign, in a story about Biden’s appearance at a Harris rally.

But it is a distinction Biden had never made in public before. He always says that his administration “created” 16 million new jobs in his first term, usually followed by “the most of any president in history.”

For years, while the mainstream media was swallowing Biden’s lies about job growth, we’ve been exposing them. A sampling:

The day after his X post appeared, Biden was back to bragging about “16 million new jobs so far.” And it’s a regular talking point on Kamala’s campaign.

But what Biden finally admitted in his X post is that nearly 10 million of the jobs he’s credited himself for creating were actually created long before he took office.

When states panicked about COVID-19 and imposed brutal (and pointless) lockdowns, the result was the sudden loss of 22 million jobs in just two months – effectively erasing all the jobs created since November 1999!

Then, in just the last nine months remaining in Trump’s term, 12.5 million of those lost had already been recovered. It took 17 months under Biden for the economy to regain the remaining 9.4 million.

Translation: Had Trump remained in office, the jobs recovery would almost certainly have been faster than it was under Biden, given that Biden and his fellow Democrats showered benefits on the unemployed that kept them out of the labor force.

Since then, the economy has created 6.4 million new jobs under Biden – also a slower pace than under Trump (there were 6.7 million new jobs created in Trump’s first three years).

That’s why unemployment today is 4.3% and climbing, where it was 3.5% and falling just before the COVID lockdowns.

You’d never know any of this if you relied on the mainstream press for news. They are too busy scribbling down talking points issued to them by the Biden-Harris regime to notice. Or care.
