What’s The Dems’ Plan B If Lawfare Doesn’t Stop Trump? We Have Some Ideas

Next Tuesday both sides will present their closing arguments in the People of the State of New York v. Donald J. Trump, a case that exists for one reason only: to stop Trump from ever occupying the White House again.

But what if this doesn’t work? What if there’s a hung jury or, worse yet, an acquittal? What if none of the 88 trumped-up felony charges results in a conviction and voters actually have a chance to elect Trump, should they prefer him over the decrepit failure known as Joe Biden?

What is the Democrats’ Plan B?

They must have one. Democrats are nothing if not always prepared. And they’ve already made it clear that they will do anything to stop Trump. Anything, that is, except run on the issues.

It looks increasingly likely that they will need a plan. Democrats bent and twisted the law into impossible shapes to rack up those felony charges against a political opponent. Now the seams are showing.

After Michael Cohen’s disastrous turn on the stand in the “hush money” trial undermined the bedrock of this case, even CNN is hedging its bets on the outcome.

The case has already failed to live up to its billing as political kryptonite. A Yahoo News/YouGov poll found that a mere 16% say they’re following the trial closely. Cable news ratings are down. New York Times columnist Michelle Goldberg whined about how, “when people were asked how the trial made them feel, the most common response was ‘bored’.”

Of course, none of that will matter to the jury, which could very well render a guilty verdict. But even Goldberg admits that this won’t necessarily stop Trump, given that he’s unlikely to be sent to prison before his appeals are heard.

The other cases are faring just as poorly. Fani Willis, the lying district attorney prosecuting the Georgia election interference case, could get booted now that an appeals court has agreed to hear Trump’s challenge to have her removed. Either way, it means further delays which will likely prevent the case from going to trial before the election.

The federal case involving classified documents at Mar-a-Lago – which Biden’s Justice Department wanted to fast-track before the election – is also falling apart after delays, revelations that prosecutors mishandled the documents, challenges to the legality of Jack Smith’s appointment as special counsel, and the fact that the wheels of justice grind slowly.

The $354 million in penalties in a civil trial for a victimless crime that wasn’t a crime was supposed to wipe out Trump, but didn’t.

And, of course, the Supreme Court seemed to indicate in its questions during oral arguments about Trump’s immunity claim that it could side at least partially with the former president.

You can tell when each one of these anti-Trump bombshells turns out to be a dud from the hair-on-fire reaction from the left. After Judge Aileen Cannon announced a delay in the documents trial to weigh all the complexities involved, which will likely postpone it until after the election, Democrats accused her of “deliberately slow-walking the case.” After the Supreme Court appeared skeptical of the government’s arguments in the immunity case, a New York Times columnist said the justices “directly intervened in the 2024 presidential election.”

It seems there is no institution that Democrats won’t tear down in their zeal to “protect democracy.”

So, what is their Plan B? Here are some options we would guess that Democrats are currently considering.

Dump Biden. Democrats know if Trump survives all these legal attacks, he will likely crush Biden. Even in the midst of all this legal wrangling, Trump’s numbers have only solidified while Biden’s continue to sag. We’ve long suspected that swapping Biden out at the last minute has been the Democrats’ plan for some time, especially since mainstream reporters started parroting Democratic talking points about how Biden was 100% guaranteed to be the nominee.

Now the talk of replacing Biden has developed a sense of urgency we haven’t seen before. There is even open speculation that the reason the White House suddenly agreed to debate Trump and do so in June – before either candidate is officially nominated at their conventions – is to give Democrats time to replace Biden if he falls on his face.

Reassemble the election rigging team. After the 2020 elections, Time magazine ran a glowing feature about how a cabal of leftist groups, businessmen, Big Tech, and others “scrambled to shore up America’s institutions as they came under simultaneous attack from a remorseless pandemic and an autocratically inclined president. … Their work touched every aspect of the election. They got states to change voting systems and laws and helped secure hundreds of millions in public and private funding.”

Time was careful to claim that none of this was designed to defeat Trump, but to retain the integrity of the election. Seriously? Who are they kidding?

In any case, evidence is currently emerging that the Biden administration has been using taxpayer money on a government-wide effort to selectively register voters most likely to vote for the Democrat – i.e., rig the election.

Cheat. The reason so many Americans believe that Biden stole the 2020 election is because of the many glaring irregularities that occurred that November, all of which just happened to occur in areas Democrats controlled in swing states that Biden captured by the narrowest of margins. Even if election fraud is widespread and obvious, the same institutions that rallied to “save” the 2020 election will deny it all and accuse anyone who claims otherwise of being an insurrectionist.

Call off the election. Don’t be surprised if things really look bad for Democrats that they start talking about why a free and democratic election must be postponed or canceled because Trump is such a danger to democracy.

The A-word. Democrats have been wishing Trump would die – Biden’s former press secretary, Jenn Psaki, recently dreamed that: “Maybe Donald Trump will go away. Maybe he’ll go to jail. Maybe he will die. Not to be too morbid. But maybe. He’s not a young man.” Could some deranged Democrat actually act on this death wish?

This is all just wild speculation of course. But the one thing you can count on Democrats not doing between now and Nov. 5 is to engage Trump in a debate over policy, Biden’s dismal record as president, or anything substantive.

  • They already stopped Trump once with a pandemic, they could do it again. This time it will be a real one with a much larger death rate, and they will use it justify emergency voting by smartphone, with Apple and Google as the national vote tabulators.

    • Heh, so as to disenfranchise those of us who, for privacy reasons, stick to landlines and laptops?

    • A “pandemic” caused by the bio weapon Demunists funded for over 20 years and co-developed in secret with their CCP allies.

  • There will have to be a “Plan B” because all of his court cases will be either resolved or postponed until after the election. And I want to say that for the first time in a long time I can say that I am proud to be a New Yorker after seeing the rally in the Bronx.

      • We do not live in a democracy you maroon….. we have a constitutional republic.

  • Well, ultimately, yes, when all else fails the Democratic National Crime-syndicate could resort to “the A-word” (as you coyly put it). Having no respect for life, there’s no crime too far for power-crazed racketeers when they get desperate.

Not necessarily against Trump, though – they can solve their Biden problem by “martyring” him (probably at the hands of someone who will be made to look like a “Trump supporter” but won’t survive to be questioned), in the hope of instantly creating an overwhelming sympathy vote for their “unexpected” last-minute replacement candidate. If that still doesn’t look like conjuring a win, then they’ll have the option of a “revenge” attack (by someone “distraught with grief” over Biden, setting up a “temporary insanity” defence) to get finally rid of Trump too. So don’t bet the farm on either current contender actually making it to the ballot.

  • President Trump is a Jedi.
Not to give him the evil eye (which means Psaki’s dream of ridding Trumpsters like myself the opportunity of voting again for President Trump), I believe (and I sincerely hope I am right-because he is indeed elderly) President Trump is such an unusually strong, gallant and fierce fighter for his beliefs, her condemnations will only make him more strong than he is.
    May God have it so!!

  • Democrats will indeed do literally anything to retain power, and in this case to stop Trump as he represents an existential threat to their cozy little power structure.

  • I firmly believe the deep state already has a plan to eliminate Trump. Permanently. Their plan was in place before the lawfare began, the lawfare is simply a tool to be used this way: 1: throw everything at him via lawfare, 2: lawfare fails to imprison him or invalidate his candidacy, 3: Trump emerges more popular and “vindicated,” 4: this enrages one, or several, anti-Trumpers who decide they *must* act to save democracy, 5: they take Trump out.
    Problem solved.

  • I pray, that Presdient Trump will serve up swift justice to traitors, via tribunal courts. Traitor lawyers, judges, lawgivers, Propganda Ministry members, “educators” and “health care providers”, must know, that treacherous behavior comes with dealy costs.

    • Hopefully tens of thousands of treasonous Demunists will find new accommodations in the Gray Bar Hotel.

  • I wouldn’t be surprised if a “Climate Emergency” is declared at the first hurricane or wildfire, and used to justify suspending the election.

  • I’ve been thinking lately that they may attempt to assassinate Kennedy and frame Trump for it.

  • Whitmer really scares me.
    1. Conventions traditionally love favorite sons/daughters of swing states.
    2. WI and PA could swing with MI.
    3. The age advantage totally flips.
    4. The is a glass ceiling breaker.
    5. Her policies are as bad as Biden but she can actually talk about them.

  • Democrats always say they will stop Trump ‘by any means necessary’… Why would we not believe them?

    • Dems will try anything to stop Trump, but time is running out.

    • Because Republicans are sane, normal people who can’t imagine the true malice dwelling in Demunist hearts.

  • If Trump wins in 2024, I would like to see a federal RICO prosecution of James, Bragg, Willis and Smith for coordinating their malicious prosecutions of Trump to interfere with the 2024 election. This effort was clearly coordinated and corrupt. Even if they all escape conviction, the expense of the trial will be a significant deterrent to future political trials of this nature. Perhaps a special counsel can bring the case in Florida, since some of the action took place there? I also want to see obstruction of justice charges for everyone in the DOJ involved with allowing the statute of limitations to lapse on Hunter Biden’s 2 biggest revenue years. A special counsel should have a field day on this one. The statute of limitations on obstruction is 5 years, so everyone involved in the case can be indicted, small fry up to AG. Look for a lot of witness tampering on this one as well.

Of course there can also be lawsuits based on federal civil rights law. It’s clear Democrats in multiple jurisdictions have conspired to infringe on Republicans’ civil rights. These cases can be filed privately.

    • Federal charges can be brought in any State. Florida is a good choice to insure justice is done.

  • The marxists also have their favorite stooge and paid for traitor already coming out to try to get Congress to not allow Trump to be president..
Of course, I am talking about lizard chinny, (how many does she have now?)

  • Another possible option for the Democrats to stop Trump. Start a limited war with Russia over Ukraine. Claim the election could not proceed in a war and should be postponed until the situation improves ( basically the same thing Zelensky is doing now). Claim they must detain all ” Putin sympathizers “. The Media would work overtime to frame Trump and his followers as Putin sympathizers that needs to be detained. If during detention some or all of them die ” resisting arrest ” it would be “completely unexpected”

    • Lol – I don’t see a down side in that idea. With typical Demunist incompetence, it would quickly become a limited nuclear exchange. Say, 6-12 of our largest, bluest cities. While I would never WISH for such a thing, it would certainly put an end to Demunist plans to establish a “totalitarian utopia” here for generations.

  • If they show up at your house with guns drawn, it shows to what lengths they are prepared to go.

  • Demunists already killed 9 million people with the bio weapon they funded for over 20 years and co-developed in secret with their CCP allies. Did they also release it intentionally? Without a smoking gun we may never know for certain, but history offers us a clue:

In over 5,000 years of recorded human history, there is little or no credible evidence there has ever been such a thing as a “political coincidence.”

Given these well documented facts, attempting the “JFK solution” seems a forgone conclusion. I just hope they are as inept at that as they are at everything else.

  • Thank you, Mr. Trump, for denying Merrick Garland a SCOTUS seat! Sadly, his retribution (along with a long list of nefarious characters) may cost you everything. Should that be the case, hopefully, the highest court in the land will somehow, some way, restore order throughout this land I so dearly love.

If not Trump, SCOTUS. If not, SCOTUS, Jesus… the end of the story is that the good guys always win.

God bless us all in these very troubling times.
