First, the good news. Senior vaccination is accelerating, with the CDC reporting as of yesterday that 57% of the United States age 65+ population has now been vaccinated. Some states are doing phenomenally well at vaccinating seniors, who account for over 80 percent of all COVID deaths. Here at the latest figures for age 65+ and age 70+ (some states report on that basis):

Amazing that New York is one of five states that do not report age data on vaccinations (Arkansas, Montana, New Hampshire, Wyoming are the others).
Why would a state that has been excoriated for refusing to report accurate death numbers of COVID seniors refuse to report senior vaccination numbers?
Call us conspiratorialists, but we suspect the New York numbers are so bad that Cuomo thinks he’s better off hiding them. New York City, which does report, has vaccinated a pitiful 38% of its senior population — far lower than most states.
Has the media that failed at its job during the nursing home scandal even bothered to ask why New York isn’t reporting its vaccination age data? No!
There’s more to explore:

- Neanderthals in NY and Calif.
- Gov. Witmer’s coverup

Is this worthy of an article?
We are entering a new phase of American society, and there are many more pertinent issues with which to concern ourselves. Let’s get to them.
Yes. You are so right. How could we be so naive as to think that protecting vulnerable seniors is worthy of an article? Especially when we could be talking about “more pertinent issues” like, I don’t know, solar panels?
