Since we launched Issues & Insights back in 2019, we’ve been delighted with the response, both in terms of readership and donations to our Tip Jar.
We’ve also caught the attention of a lot of advertising networks, who have been pitching us on their products. We’ve been experimenting with some of them, to see what works and doesn’t work. Our goal is to enlist advertisers to help support our work, without overwhelming the site.
As we’ve been working through this process, we’ve been trying to strike the right balance, which is why the pages may have seemed too ad-heavy at times. Please bear with us as we figure this out.
Our main source of support is you — our readers. And unlike other sites, we aren’t hiding any of our content behind “Patriot” or “VIP” paywalls, or bribing readers with an “ad-free experience.” We love it when we get voluntary donations.
