What We’re Thankful For

The First Thanksgiving by Jean Leon Gerome Ferris.

If we were to be honest, the list of things we are thankful for would be far, far too long to catalog.

Of course, we are thankful for our families and friends. For living in this exceptional nation, and for the patriots who defend it.

We are thankful for a loving God. We’re thankful for the freedom we have to worship Him.

But there is so much more.

We’re thankful for smiles and words of encouragement. For comfort when we’re suffering. We’re thankful for the beauty that is all around us. We’re thankful for every moment of joy we’ve ever experienced, no matter how fleeting. We’re thankful for countless other things, big and small.

We here at I&I, we are especially thankful for you – our readers and supporters.

We aren’t rich or famous. We aren’t celebrities. We aren’t “influencers” on social media. We are simply old-school print journalists who want to share our insights and the truths we uncover, and whatever wisdom God has seen fit to grant us, as plainly, simply, and straightforwardly as possible. Our work has to speak for itself.

So every pageview we get and every contribution we receive is a gratifying sign that what we are doing is worthwhile and has value. Thank you for that!

And, because we have so much to be thankful for, we will be taking the rest of the week off.

Happy Thanksgiving!
