Is The U.K. On The Verge Of Civil War?

It might be easy to dismiss the growing unrest in Britain, where crowds of fed-up and violently angry citizens are suddenly taking to the streets to end what they see as the tyranny of woke multiculturalism and horribly failed immigration policies. But right now, it looks as if the country could be nearing some kind of national breakdown or split, one with major global ramifications.

Are we going a little too far in seeing a possible breakup or civil war? Not at all. The social pressures from a near non-stop influx of immigrants, legal and illegal, have been building for decades in Britain, long one of the most generous nations in taking in immigrants from its former colonies abroad.

But that generosity came with a high price: Large numbers of unassimilated immigrants in most cities who share neither the culture nor religion of their hosts, and commit serious crimes in their neighborhoods. They form “rape gangs” that groom young victims and “share” underage British girls as if it were a sport.

The response by Britain’s establishment elites, and even its police, has largely been to ignore the offenses – and accuse those who point out the problems of being racist.

But recent remarks from prominent retired British Col. Richard Kemp can’t be ignored. He warned that Britain and the rest of the West face a “primary threat” from the “hard left and Islamist extremists who have, together with other causes, come together to threaten the cohesion and the culture, the entire culture and political existence of the West.”

Kemp, who served in the Gulf War, Bosnia and Afghanistan, and also held senior intelligence and security positions in government, noted: “I don’t know what the timeframe is, but I would go so far as to not just predict civil unrest, but civil war in the U.K. in the coming years if this situation continues, which I believe it will.”

In recent days and weeks, thousands of protesters and counter-protesters have gathered outside “asylum hotels” around the country. The hotels are used to temporarily house newly arrived illegals.

Britain’s silent majority wants its nation back, but it knows it won’t get it without a fight. The left is used to intimidating its foes into silence through online campaigns, threats of violence, and loud demonstrations in the street organized by groups such as “Stand Up To Racism” carrying signs like “Defend Refugees, Stop the Far Right.”

By the way, British Labour Prime Minister Keir Starmer gets pretty good press here in the U.S. But back home, thanks to the raging battle against illegal immigration, it’s a different story. Due to his feckless willingness to allow in an ever-widening stream of illegals from Africa and the Middle East, Starmer has plunged in the polls.

He now has a disapproval rating of 68%, with just 13% saying they support him. The next general election isn’t scheduled until August 2029, if Starmer can hold on to power that long.

We mention the British illegal immigration battle for a good reason: Something similar is happening here. And if not for our change in government, we might might be on the verge of civil war, too. It’s quite a contrast.

It’s not just that Democrats and their far-left allies have done all they can, including using violence, sabotage and intimidation, to prevent those here illegally from being arrested and deported, as is required under the law.

No, they want to create chaos in the streets, a feeling of anarchy, to test our often passive society’s tolerance. They may have gone too far.

At this point, the Trump administration’s program of deporting those here illegally, focusing mostly on criminals, has been a big success. Blue state “sanctuary cities and states” have been put on notice: ICE will operate wherever it needs to, and will treat “demonstrators” who commit acts of violence, terrorism, or vandalism as the criminals they are.

Unlike Britain, the U.S. is moving down the right track, thanks to Trump. According to a new report, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement is now deporting 1,435 illegal immigrants a day, more than two times the number in President Biden’s last month in office.

Moreover, the Center for Immigration Studies estimates that the total population of illegal immigrants has fallen 1.6 million this year, based on data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

So, unlike the U.K., we’re solving our problems with a president who actually listens to those who elected him. Meanwhile, Britain’s elites feel perfectly comfortable disenfranchising and ignoring average Britons, while at the same time ridiculing their patriotism and love of their own culture.

  • If Starmer gets good press here, it is only in the corporate press. I haven’t read anything good about that weasel, but I don’t read or listen to any lamestream press. (My term for the corporate press.)

  • The indigenous Brits are going to have a difficult time prevailing because they’ve been almost completely disarmed.

    • Google or duck duck “Crescent, Crown & Pitchfork” for an interesting analysis for how this might sort out in Britain.

Crown forces are tiny and ill suited for a civil conflict on British soil. The natives have depth of field. Islam is concentrated in urban areas that can be isolated physically and economicly isolated.

  • It’s a damned shame that the sheep allowed themselves to be disarmed, even knives are banned. During the two world wars Britain begged for arms from us and we shipped millions of rifles and handguns which were distributed nationwide. I wonder how many of those are still hidden away.

  • The rise in leftism and Islamism is because the West in general is suffering from too much prosperity; people have too much to lose by making a stand.

That was the point of the long imprisonment for posting on social media or arrests for praying silently by an abortion mill or hanging the country’s flag in public. It is to remind people of what they have to lose.

But as their economy falters, as more people suffer the violence inherent in Islam, as more people are unjustly imprisoned, people will feel that they don’t have enough left to fear losing it.

The problem for the UK is its all voluntary military and falling recruitment numbers. When the unrest begins, the UK govt will have to enlist people to fight but if native Brits feel put upon, neglected, ignored, marginalized now, why would they defend the govt then?

The irony is that when this comes to pass, and it must come to pass since it cannot continue, the only group who will be willing to maintain the status quo and stand in support of the govt will be the Islamists…

  • It’s certainly not sustainable for the current government of the UK to go on for another four years when their mandate is clearly exhausted.

People need to put pressure on the King to dissolve Parliament NOW. Rally outside Buckingham Palace. Give him a little scare. Make him consider the fate of previous Charles’s

  • Chase out the Invaders from Islamic Nations no forced Conversions to Islam

  • Trump has made minimal progress. We have approximately 50 million non citizens without visas currently.

Our borders are not secure, we need our military brought back from overseas and deployed along the entire border, as a line of contact. The ports of entry need military overseeing our corrupted customs officers and rotate all of them every few weeks.

And we need hundreds of appointed mobile tribunals to work with sweeps of entire cities and states. Deporting aliens en masse.

This has been done under previous administrations, although the scale now is stratospheric and needs full attention.

End the foreign war games and take care of our country.
