That presumes a lot. Biden “pardoned” people who’ve not been charged. Trump pardoned those who had been convicted. The latter is limited to actual events; people who had actually been incarcerated (and by judges some of whom appeared deeply biased against them).
I have to object here, strenuously. What pardons did Trump grant that were equivalent to the criminal ones that Biden granted his family and his crime syndicate partners? And don’t even bother trying to equate the Jan 6 ones. They were absolutely appropriate.
Your own editorial distinguish Biden’s pardons of the jailers and relatives and Trump pardoning Jan 6ers who some were held for 1,400 days without trials, beaten and solitary confinement, many veterans or x-police officers. Bitcoin Freedom Road guy who was sentenced to two life sentences and 40 years for a website built in his 20’s. Pro-lifers jailed for free-speech against abortions. Really?
The very fact that Ramirez equates the Trump pardons with the Biden pardons illustrates less the cleverness of his observations and more his limited acquaintance with recent history.
There is no comparison between Trump’s pardons and Bidens.
A provocative cartoon but unbalanced:
Question: how much time, much of it in Guantanamo solitude, had the Proud Boy leaders and their ilk, served before Trump’s pardon? They clearly deserved jail but more than four years?
In comparison, how much jail time did the violent street thugs who burned down buildings, threw molotov cocktails, beat up police in the numerous street riots serve? None under Biden.
Fascinating that Biden fears the evils of lawfare, promulgated under his “leadership,” that could devour his whole family, hence his pardons, if Republicans are as lawless and immoral as his tribe of Democrats.
When are you going to wake up and get rid of this biased cartoonist?? This is BS. The J6 people were set up by Progressives. This guy is on the wrong side of history every single time. Get rid of him.
Pathetic. There is no comparison.
