I have to disagree with the article at Intellectual Takeout. It is not elites necessarily trying to obtain control of everything that divides us.
Something like 35% of the electorate are hard core Democrats. Where I live they are easy to find, and since they are my neighbors and in a few cases colleagues I am forced to hear their views…”I just love what Biden is doing for our country”, says one. “This town is full of nice people and I can afford a home here. The only drawback is they don’t vote ‘progressive’ enough” says another who moved here from San Francisco.
We don’t or can’t even see the same data in front of us.
