Real conservatives need to vote for Nikki Haley. The cancer that is Trumpism must be overcome, or it will take down either the GOP, or America, or both.
Dear Michael: Here’s an idea. People vote against more than they vote for.
Regarding one Suicidal Policy of the RNC:
Their Zealous-Strident-I Am Right and You Are Wrong-Election-Losing-Anti-Abortion Plank.
The RNC is clinging to one thoroughly divisive issue that loses many elections, and loses millions and millions and millions of votes.
Change that strategy.
Get rid of the issue.
Win the election.
Supporting the right to have an abortion is clearly the winning strategy in the US now; the vast majority of voters agree. Vast majority in both parties.
Why stand by this divisive issue any longer, when the other very agreeable planks of the party platform are worthy of strong support, and just need millions and millions and millions more votes back to win the election to implement those policies to strengthen the USA?
With a changed strategy to support the right to an abortion, millions of votes will come back from those lost because of this one divisive issue; millions of votes will come back from the undecided voters; millions of votes will come back from the independent voters who have been looking for signals of a compassionate strategy from the RNC, and from Trump, too.
Change the strategy!
Get rid of the issue.
Win the election!

Rubbish. Or, at least, mostly rubbish.
I have never believed that the legality of killing and eating your young is *that* important to a critical mass of the population, only that they are extremely loud, mouthy, and well funded.
That said, it’s hardly the issue of the most pressing urgency because the GOP (in general) is urging the passing of laws forbidding something and we have to many of those already.
That further said, the fact that we (and some place called Canada, to a much greater degree) have a government that continues to insist upon the liquidation of a segment of the population and funds accordingly is something that will have to be addressed properly sooner or later.
