The Past Week Proves It — Democrats Are The Brainless Party

If Republicans are the stupid party – and you will get no argument from us here about that – perhaps the correct label for today’s Democratic party is “brainless.” Witness what it did in just the past few days:

President Joe Biden showed up at the pro-abortion EMILY’s List gala, where he said “I also want to thank my buddy Kamala who I work for up in the White House for leading on this issue.”

This is not the first time Biden has mistaken Harris as president. The fact that she could be president is worse, since there are few in public office as dimwitted as she. Recently, Harris offered this pearl of wisdom at an event honoring National Small Business Week: “Some of our younger small business owners actually self-identify as entrepreneurs. They’re small business owners also.”

Meanwhile, Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman, the darling of the left, had this to say to a witness during a Senate Banking Committee hearing this week:

“Is it a staggering responsive … responsibility … that the the head of a bank could literally could literally crash our economy. Astonishing. That’s like if you have, I mean like … and, and they also realize is that-that-that now they have, it’s in the guaranteed a guaranteed way to be saved, by again by no matter no matter how, you know. So, it’s, it’s, you know, isn’t it appropriate that the those kinds of this kind of control should be more stricter to prevent this kind of thing from going? Or should we just go on and start bailing and sailing whoever bank, regardless of how however there’s their conduct is?”

Then there’s the 89-year-old Sen. Diane Feinstein, who returned to the Senate after spending three months at home recovering from shingles, who when asked about her absence told reporters: “I haven’t been gone. I’ve been here, I’ve been voting. Please, either know or don’t know.”

At least they are just spouting nonsense words. The policies being pushed by the party aren’t just brainless, they’re dangerous.

Rep. Cori Bush, D-Missouri, this week introduced a Reparations Now Resolution that would provide $14 trillion in funds to descendants of American slaves. “What we’re talking about is freedom and equity and calling on this country to acknowledge the harm that it has inflicted,” Bush said.

Rep. Barbara Lee, D-Calif., tweeted in support of the bill saying: “Reparations means equity. Reparations means justice. Reparations means dismantling the systems that have kept us marginalized.”

Aside from the impossibility of figuring out how to divide the spoils, to say nothing of raising the money, a reparations bill would be massively divisive, given that 68% of Americans oppose it, including 58% of Hispanics and 65% of Asians. Just 48% of rank-and-file Democrats back reparations.

Keep in mind, these are just a few of the most recent examples.

So, why does a party filled to the brim with radical dolts who are completely out of touch with common folks enjoy the reputation it does? How do Democrats keep winning elections after failing to deliver anything they promise? How can they run cities, states, and this country into the ground, yet still hold sway over so much of the nation?

Well, it helps when you have a massive infrastructure doing your public relations work for you. In just the past few days we also saw this:

After Fetterman’s disastrous performance at the Banking Committee hearing, the Washington Post’s Jeff Stein sent a tweet supposedly quoting Fetterman as saying “Shouldn’t you have a working requirement after we bail out your bank? Republicans seem to be more preoccupied with SNAP requirements for hungry people than protecting taxpayers that have to bail out these banks.”

Here’s what Fetterman actually said: “The Republicans want to give a work requirement for SNAP. You know, for a uh, uh, uh, a hungry family has to have these, this kind of penalties, or these some kinds of word – working uh, require – Shouldn’t you have a working requirement, after we sail your bank, billions of your bank? Because you seem we were preoccupied, uh when, then SNAP requirements for works, for hungry people, but not about protecting the tax, the tax papers, you know, that will bail them out of whatever does about a bank to crash it.”

When confronted, Stein deleted his tweet and then claimed he just reprinted what Fetterman’s office sent him.

A reporter who did this on behalf of a Republican senator would be tossed on the street. Stein’s job, we’re certain, is quite secure.

Then there’s the media blackout of Biden family corruption, which has become so egregious that Jonathan Turley a few days ago said that it “has all the markings of a state media. The consistent spin. The almost universal lack of details. The absurd distinctions.”

And the only response from the press to this week’s blockbuster Durham report – which implicated the Clinton campaign, the FBI, and the media in a massive disinformation campaign to stop Donald Trump from winning in 2016 and then to handicap his presidency – was to dismiss the report as not living up to some imagined hype.

But let’s give credit where credit is due. Democrats are good at some things: using the levers of government to control our lives, becoming fabulously rich through “public service,” keeping themselves in power, and covering up their corruption. Apparently, you don’t need much of a brain to do those things, especially when you have a media-industrial-complex there to help.

  • The non-elected people who really run things in the Biden administration, the bureaucrats and lobbyists, are absolutely delighted that there isn’t anybody with a brain stopping them from usurping the powers of the executive branch, and only a few such people in the legislative branch. They still haven’t figured out how to completely neuter the judicial branch, but they keep trying to either pack the court, or get a crazy person to assassinate a conservative Justice, or coordinate a mass media attack on the reputation of Justices such as Thomas who still resist them.

    • WHY aren’t my R’s speaking up? For the same reason they ignored the Tea Party and Lois Lerner. You know why we’re in deep trouble when they figured out how to spend 2 trillion in five mounts 4/2020. Now they have more facts they chose to ignore. Want to see the fix in action? Google Rosemont Seneca account statements. Go thru the 3 years of such fund wire transfers. Why did no R touch this? Peter Schweizer at least tried. He was basically cold shouldered by my Rs!! The bottom line is the D’s were so incredibly wrong w covid , spending, and inflation the only suitable response is laugh and mock them. For instance…….

I think they should stop the charade, and replace Kamala Harris with John Fetterman. Think how much better we will hear their lecturing!

  • I’d like to ask Ms. Lee: Suppose a reparations scheme is agreed to and carried out; what then? What would change? Would black grievances vanish along with white supremacy and systemic racism? If not, what are we people of pallor paying for?

  • Brainless? You couldn’t be more wrong, though they cunningly use many “brainless” people as “front-men.” (see Obiden) They inarguably have infiltrated and controlled just about every basic institution in America and with their WEF conspirators world wide they are on the verge of closing the final gap. Their goal is to break all that works well in America, making in appear that they are trying to make it work, but inept. They paint halos on all their evil (it’s for the children, we care, black lives matter etc.) and conservative fools believe they are well intended. They are not–they are evil and justify and use every known sin to attract their followers, from baby slaughter, child mutilation, free lunch sloth, climate fear deceit (EVs everyone?), and above all they use elitist pride so that the “educated” dare not think otherwise lest they be shamed. They own (via fascist-like control) the corporations (see Bud Lite-Disney), the military, the media, the education systems, the AGs, the health care institutions (covid deceit) the alphabet agencies, and even most churches etc.
It is we who still don’t see and vehemently oppose their many successes that are the brainless ones.

  • The brain-dead in the Democrat Party get elected because, thanks to bribes and a dumbed-down education blob, their electorate is even more brain-dead.

  • Though I agree with this editorial, I wish writers would stop using the “(___)-industrial” complex phrase, applied to every corrupt, megalomaniac enterprise. What we have here in this example is a media-academia complex covering for the administrative-technocratic complex. There’s no “industrial” aspect at all.
Just like the suffix “-gate” is applied to every scandal, perceived or real, though there are no actual gates involved. Getting tedious, people!

  • Back in olden times, the ’80’s, we called the Democrats the silly party. Some still are. The leftists who run the party today are beyond silly. They suffer a major mental defect. They are certifiabily insane.

  • Concerning the matter of reparations, have any of its proponents considered that every last black person conveyed to the New World was originally captured and sold by another black person – usually via an intermediate Arab slave trader – and despite the trade to the East being at least an order of magnitude greater than that to the West and starting centuries earlier there is no evidence whatsoever of any residual diaspora of black Africans in the countries to the East in any comparable to the well-established ones in the West, and just why that should be?

  • No, they are not brainless, they are, evil, repugnant, manipulative, treasonous, fascist, self absorbed, power-hungry, dishonest, unclean, immoral and stupid to a fault, but they are following orders by methodical, destructive Globalist manipulators.
