Wait a second! You’re griping about the national debt YET supporting the massive amount of money being sent to Ukraine? Yeah, that’s logical.
The “right wing” of today just boggles my mind. Count me out.
If it is existential to the Republic to fight in Ukraine, we should borrow to spread it over the lifetime. Otherwise, as I infer from your observation, it represents crass vote buying.
Let it collapse. This country’s most urgent issue is the usurpation of the will of the people by the permanent government. Bring it down, by whatever means.
