‘The problem with the world is that the intelligent people are full of doubts while the stupid ones are full of confidence.’ — Charles Bukowski
‘Over the years, the right in America has spent an enormous amount of time explaining why the left is violating the rules, rules often formulated and imposed by the left, as if proving this point will make the left vanish like a puff of smoke. The left has gone from triumph to triumph while the right congratulates itself on carefully documenting their hypocrisy regarding their own moral claims.’ — The Z Man
I realize in advance that this message is futile, but I will try once again. Republicans/conservatives are in the habit of repeating the same mistakes over and over and over and over and over, and never learning from their mistakes, much less changing tactics. Their slogan is, “It didn’t work last time? Or the time before then? Or the time before that? Then we must try harder at doing the same thing!”
Don’t forget, the Republican Party has been known for years (by their own constituents!) as The Stupid Party. And for good reason (just to take one example out of many, Republicans did not fight in Alaska to prevent ranked-choice voting with the result that the Democrat who got 40% votes gets to be the representative, over the Republican candidates who got 60% of the vote, one more instance of Democratic electoral fraud. Way to go, Republicans! Only you can snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Again and again.
In the old movie “Alien,” a predator is unwittingly brought into a spaceship. Starting out small, it steadily becomes unstoppable and increasingly lethal while the bewildered crew is picked off one by one. At one point, the remaining crew asks the resident android how to kill it and his response, in a surprised tone is, “You still don’t know what you’re dealing with, do you?”
The country is on the verge of being completely taken over by the Communists. Censorship is rampant. Political indoctrination is taking place throughout every institution, state or private. The major news outlets are propaganda outlets. Formerly neutral government agencies are being oriented against dissenters. The economy is being destroyed. There is an invasion on the southern border. And, of course, you have the (traditional) Democrat election fraud now and then.
The reaction of conservatives has been … to bitch and moan. And watch Fox. Then, they cluster together and preach to the choir and never attempt to reach out. “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” — E. Burke
It is not inconceivable that this election may possibly be the last free election that we have. Perhaps not.
Regardless, there was initial euphoria months ago that there would be a Red Wave, whereupon we would have a majority in the Senate and the House, whereupon we would … nobody has come up with a plan, but that is another topic for another time. The point is that there are reliable indicators that this supposed “Red Wave” is going to fizzle out.
If so, it is because Republicans are (once again) ignoring when Opportunity is knocking – banging – at the door. And because they are stupid.
Think about it:
Democrats are supporting men participating in women’s sports and being in girls’ bathrooms. Democrat district attorneys are releasing criminals without bond who go out and commit theft, murder, and rape.
Democrats are letting in tens of thousands of illegal immigrants and giving them thousands of dollars.
Democrats are causing the biggest rise in food prices and gas prices in 40 years.
Democrats are imposing censorship on television, the internet, in schools and businesses.
Democrats used the COVID farce to destroy people’s livelihoods and destroy small businesses.
Democrats are forcing people to take defective vaccines that have killed many.
Democrats have turned television networks into propaganda outlets.
Democrats are conducting drag queen shows in schools and libraries.
And are Republican candidates forcefully bringing this up in ads?
Of course not!
That would be rude.
The prissy conservatives don’t want to offend anybody. Certainly not the media.
Traditionally, TV/radio ads by Republicans have been, and continue to be, moronic. “Bill Blow is a veteran. And he owns a potato warehouse. So let’s send him to Congress!”
Or equally moronic ads showing the candidate shaking hands with people (actors) and seemingly listening to actors’ concerns (there were ads in Texas showing John Cornyn listening and talking to jes’ plain folks. Nobody has seen the sonofabitch in the state for years). Over half a century of these ads have yielded no results.
Here’s another old, worthless tactic: yard signs that have the name of the candidate, without saying what he is for or against. “It’s name recognition!” is the usual excuse.
The fact that the RNC uses the same ad agency as the DNC says everything you need to know about the intelligence of the Republican politicians and the people running their PACs.
A couple of Republican politicians (or their managers) decided for a change not to be stupid and put out a couple of great ads, which have made liberals go berserk. You can view them here, here, here, here, and here.
Have other Republican candidates followed suit? Of course not. That would necessitate that they be intelligent.
In the hopes that there are nevertheless other intelligent candidates out there — and there are some — let me throw out a few slogans that can be put in newspapers, TV ads, billboards, banners, handbills, etc. Pamphlets could be handed out in colleges, flea markets, streets. They could be placed on windshields. They could be left on doors. These tactics should be on a statewide, nationwide, level. Here are a few:
If you want more crime
If you think men should have abortions
If you want even higher gas prices
If you want more censorship
If you want illegal aliens to keep getting $3,000 a month
If you want even more crime
If you want to pay more for food
If you want the FBI and the IRS to persecute you because you may have the wrong politics
Then by all means keep voting Democrat.
Or you could vote for Republicans.
For all positions
Remember when Democrats locked down the country for months?
Remember when we couldn’t work, but Democrat politicians could?
Remember when Democrats forced people to wear those useless masks, but they didn’t?
Remember when Democrats forced people to take vaccines that caused blood clots?
Remember when Democrats used the pandemic to abolish our rights?
Remember when they canceled holidays, baptisms, weddings, churches, proms, while they partied?
Well … the Democrats are hoping you’ve forgotten.
Kick them out of office!
Vote a straight Republican ticket!
Vote for higher gas prices.
Vote for higher food prices.
Vote for more crime.
Vote for more taxes.
In other words, vote Democrat.
Or … you could vote Republican.
Or on billboards:
You’re going to vote for Democrats again?
Haven’t you learned anything?
Democrats want drag queen shows in schools.
The above are just the tip of the iceberg and can be used with or without visuals. The airwaves, radio, TV, internet, should be flooded with the above. And don’t wait for the fossilized Republican Party to act! James Madison wrote in 1787 that “Enlightened statesmen will not always be at the helm.” You, as a candidate, or as a private individual can do this. Some have already done so. Think outside the box.
Or we could lose again.
After all, why do something different, right?
We can always wait for 2024 for Trump to save us. Yeah, that’s it! He’ll save us! That way we don’t have to do anything!
Just like waiting for Godot.

My long, thoughtful, comment on this article: SPOT ON.
Donald Trump posed a simple question to minorities: what do you have to lose? With that one act, he engaged in more effective outreach than the RNC has been able to come up with in decades.
Good thing he didn’t succeed in taking health care away from millions.
Maybe the GOP isn’t stupid after all? Maybe they seek to fail while talking just loud enough to get voted in again next time? I would use the word complicit. Their allegiance is to Washington–not their constituents back home–nor the constitution. Maybe there are one or two exceptions, but the game of passive stupidity is just a big show to stay in the power center in DC with their friends in the socialist big government machine.
While there are some good and serious people in the Republican party, I feel the author misses the most important truth – the Republican Party, as a party, behaves as it does not because they are stupid, but because they consciously choose to, knowing full well what the political outcome of their behavior will be. Same with the Democratic Party – the social and economic outcome of their policies are a goal, not some unintended consequence. Republican and Democratic parties, two wings of the same bird.
So hard to argue against this observation. So, don’t; just switch topics or walk away in a created huff like most do.
Very well said!
“And for good reason (just to take one example out of many, Republicans did not fight in Alaska to prevent ranked-choice voting with the result that the Democrat who got 40% votes gets to be the Representative, over the Republican candidate who got 60% of the vote, one more instance of Democratic electoral fraud.”
What a stupid lie. No candidate got 60% of the vote.
In round 1, Peltola got 40.2% of the vote, Palin got 31.3%, and Begich got 28.5%.
Begich was then eliminated. 27,053 votes went from him to Palin as the voters’ next choice, and 15,467 went to Peltola.
That gave Peltola 51.5% in round 2, and Palin had 48.5%.
I used this source for the 60% of the statistics: https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2022/09/alaska-election-republicans-received-60-vote-lost-race-democrat-40-vote-thanks-gop-sucking-bad-lost-alaska-ranked-choice-voting/
Unfortunately, when I placed the link in the article, a different link was placed. My bad.
Also: https://mustreadalaska.com/sixty-percent-of-alaskans-voted-republican-in-august-yet-a-democrat-was-elected-to-congress-national-republicans-condemn-ranked-choice-as-a-scam-unfair-system/ and https://www.independentsentinel.com/60-of-voters-cast-ballots-for-republicans-a-democrat-won-in-alaska/
From your source:
In the first round of voting, the results were 40.2 percent for Peltola, 31.3 percent for Palin, and 28.5 percent for Republican Nick Begich. Although 60 percent of Alaska voters cast ballots for GOP candidates as their first choice, under Alaska’s new ranked-choice-voting method, Begich was eliminated after the first round of voting and Begich votes that indicated a preferred second choice were allocated among Peltola and Palin.
60% was approximately the number that the GOP candidates got TOGETHER. Some people seem to think that the party that got the most votes should somehow be guaranteed to have the winning candidate. This is nonsense.
The point was not that a candidate got 60%.
The point was that the Republican Candidates got 60% of the vote.
Nick Begich and Sarah Palin got between them 60%
Yes, the two Republicans got about 60% TOGETHER, as I said. You say that’s the point? How so? More to the point, so what?
The election went to Peltola, because over 50% of the people voted for her.
Jeez, telepathy. By analogy, the Repubs got so goddam much ammunition but either fear of touching a gun or non-knowledge of how to load the thing.
I believe it was the Z man who pointed out that about a third of elected Republicans are democrats who understand they cannot get elected in their districts without an ‘R’ after their names so they spout “right” at election time and vote left while in DC. He also pointed out that about a third of Republicans are just there for a nice, well-paying, fat job that gives them the opportunity to grift and enrich themselves and who will not rock the boat because they just want to be left alone to pad their bank accounts and have no core beliefs beyond that. The remaining third are true believers who are helpless in the face of these careerists and wolves in sheeps’ clothing.
This article is BRILLIANT. The author nails it. Sadly, I see the feckless Republicans once again, doing nothing in an easy target rich environment.
And what about the Donald picking a lefty hack to investigate The Federal Bumbling Idiots, whom invaded his home, as the overseer of all the stuff they took from said home on a BS warrant? This judge was the one who signed off on the”illegal” FISA warrant to go after him for the Russian hoax, yet, he has no problem with her being Special Master?
Geez! This is why we “Conservatives” keep losing elections. We act like gentlemen and they act like junkyard dogs. Stop it with the BS “I’ll work across the aisle” the only thing they should cross the aisle for is to give those bastards a mouthfull of chicklets!
Democrats & Republicans — flip sides of the kakistocracy under which we toil.
This is brilliant, Armando! I am posting your ads on Facebook, Twitter, Truth, Parler, and elsewhere. I’m creating graphics to increase readership, and posting both the image and text where possible, and attributing you. I hope that’s OK. Especially since I take a little liberty with your text, such as adding “Or, vote Republican to restore the economy, law & order, liberty, and justice for all.” instead of just “Or you could vote Republican.”
If i do remember ignorance is one of the seven Deadly Sins and thats the way liberals want it they dont want us to know of their globalists plans
We no longer have a Republican Party- the majority of-our Republican legislators are the other side of the same coin- traitors. We have a uniparty- and if there is any that are true patriots- maybe America First candidates- but we’ll have to wait & see. Trump exposed the traitors
And there’s hardly any true patriots left
In our government. If any one is stupid it’s those Who believed the Republicans were any better than the democrats .
Insightful and true. No wonder the media has buried him!
Vote Democrat vote for Poverty and Famine
