Issues & Insights was founded by seasoned journalists of the IBD Editorials page. Our mission is to provide timely, fact-based reporting and deeply informed analysis on the news of the day -- without fear or favor.
We’re doing this on a voluntary basis because we believe in a free press, and because we aren't afraid to tell the truth, even if it means being targeted by the left. Revenue from ads on the site help, but your support will truly make a difference in keeping our mission going. If you like what you see, feel free to visit our Donations Page by clicking here. Issues & Insights is run by the seasoned journalists behind the legendary IBD Editorials page. Our goal is to bring our decades of combined journalism experience to help readers understand the top issues of the day. We’re doing this on a voluntary basis, because we believe the nation needs the kind of cogent, rational, data-driven, fact-based commentary that we can provide.

That’s how Google’s content police describe many of our editorials and commentary. Then they pull their ads. It’s part of Big Tech’s effort to silence conservative voices.
Unlike the liberal brats at Google, we’ve been journalists for decades. We know what we’re doing. Our editorials are hard-hitting, fact-based, and honest.
So, tell Google censors where they can stick their attempts to demonetize us. Any amount you can spare to support us directly will help!

The olympic system is insane. So many rules always favors the big teams. Russia, U.S. , China the rest don’t really matter.
Yes, so what is new. I stopped watching the Olympics long ago, the cheating and politics was just too much. Reruns are better. I am proud of the hard work and dedication of our U.S. athletes, not watching takes nothing away from them. Besides they make their money with Ads;as they should.
A diversion from the real story: Under Trump, who attended and did diplomacy during South Korea winter Olympics, USA was number one in winter Olympic medals and TV flashed the medal count every 5 minutes. Under Biden, who stayed home to pursue domestic agendas (e.g. race, Open Borders, anti-Fossil Fuels), better to do anti-Russian propaganda narratives and hide the subpar medal stats. Another televised Propaganda Olympics, which this cartoon echoes in graphic format. Biden needs a Russia war before the midterm elections to enhance his party’s lagging election prospects; by getting people’s minds away from inflation, domestic and border failures, and to make himself into a wartime leader like old Winston Churchill. Wag the Dog, like Clinton and Albania. If the USA had real journalists, they would be asking why a 15-year athlete took a heart medicine (was it to counteract the high incidence of cardiovascular damage to young people from COVID vaccines? But that would be a forbidden discussion and banned from social media). Inquiring minds might also ask why several subsequent tests were negative for banned drugs in December and January. Was Sweden (drug lab site) once again cooperating with the USA, as it did against Julian Assange (false sex crime charges)? You would think a nation of 350 million could allow one real journalist to ask real questions without being cancelled. 100% propaganda in all formats gets tiresomely redundant. Sameness = Boredom. Yawn.
