Issues & Insights is run by seasoned journalists who were behind the Pulitzer Prize-winning IBD Editorials page (before it was summarily shut down). Our goal then and now is to bring our decades of combined journalism experience to help readers understand the top issues of the day. I&I is a completely independent operation, beholden to none, but committed to providing cogent, rational, data-driven, fact-based commentary that the nation so desperately needs.

I do not agree about the “Fallacy”, there was cheating, there has always been cheating somewhere. But, I do agree that the parties are the same. Every politician, no matter what party wants to get reelected, SO, what is a voter to do? Our voter procedures need to be protected. WE need voter IDs!!!!! Mr. Remirez, your idea that the 2021 election cheating is a Fallacy is sad, I don’t think you have done enough research on this. Please don’t spread information, make jokes, that are not factual. It does a disservice to the journalism. I trust you to a point, but sometimes your jokes are more important than fact. (Arizona, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania etc. – so what happened???)
The keyword that is no longer used is “widespread.” Ds didn’t need to just cheat, there had to be widespread cheating. Rs, on the other hand, merely had to think of cheating by Ds to be ignorant racists.
