Issues & Insights was founded by seasoned journalists from the IBD Editorials page. Our mission is to provide timely, fact-based reporting and deeply informed analysis on the news of the day -- without fear or favor.

We’re doing this on a voluntary basis because we believe in a free press and because we aren't afraid to tell the truth, even if it means being targeted by the left.

We are 100% reader supported!!

  • This cartoon comment is right on the spot. As a retired Master Chief with 20 years on submarines, I feel for my navy. PC is as much a problem in the military as in the civilian world of the liberals. To think that a CO’s concern for the well being of his crew is enough to get him keel hauled is crazy. You hear from the higher ups that he is not fit for command. When a crew will chant & clap as their skipper is leaving, says it all. Could go on, but why when Mr. Ramirez has said it so well
