As our loyal readers know, we regularly attack Google, which operates the gigantic AdSense ad network, for demonetizing our content that doesn’t fit the “woke” agenda.

You might also have been frustrated recently with a barrage of (unsanctioned) ads that another ad network started spamming our site with, or being redirected to another site — also unsanctioned.

Well, we’ve had enough!

Last month, we launched our Kill the Ads campaign — which promised to kill an ad spot for every $20,000 we raised. We’ve been pleased with the response.

So pleased, in fact, that with the first $5,000 we received we’ve already decided to kill TWO ad spots!

(There was an ad in the center of the front page and one near the top of each article that are GONE!)

We are on our way!

If you’d like to support this effort, click on the Kill the Ads button below.

Be sure to write KILL THE ADS in the memo line, so we know to count your donation toward this campaign.

For more than six years now, Issues & Insights has published one of the few independent editorial sites. We are beholden to no one.

No one, that is, except for you — our readers.

You have made this effort worthwhile. Your support has helped us afford to keep going.

That’s why we work so hard to provide you with great content. That’s why we don’t hide our content behind paywalls or demand subscriptions. And that’s why we’ve tried, as much as we can afford, to keep ads to a minimum.

When we raise $100,000, we will kill them all.

This will provide us the resources we need to provide you with the editorials and commentary you’ve come to appreciate — without handing money over to the likes of Google!

(Of course, if we raise $1 million, we will grow this site into the biggest, best, and most influential opinion site in the world. )

We will keep track of the Kill the Ads money raised on this page.

Thank you for your support!
