Some Headlines We’d Like To Write

There’s so much idiocy out there that we can’t possibly cover it all with editorials. But we thought that we could at least write a series of headlines, each of which includes a summary of what we’d like to say if we had the time.

Let’s get started:

Dear Useful Idiot, Please Read This

Revolutionaries need foot soldiers who will do more than act the fool at protests. (And we have plenty of them, from the constantly screeching AWFULs to the soy boys playing soldier to social-status seekers.) They need booted people on the ground to put their bodies and lives on the line, the more uninformed, the more neurotic and the more narcissistic the better, because the media propagandists, politicians and funders of the revolution can’t be bothered to leave their comfortable bubbles while they incite the mob.

Every time we see a video of the torch-and-picthfork rabble in action, from the Occupy Wall Street loons to the BLM jackasses to today’s anti-ICE nitwits, we wonder if any among the mindless multitude will ever engage in a bit of introspection. It’s too late for the bitter-for-no-reason Baby Boomers and most of the Gen Xers, but we hope the younger Karens and their “male” counterparts will look back in 10 or 20 years and feel embarrassed and deeply ashamed of their petulance. If not, if they don’t let go of their childish anger, they will be making the world worse for themselves and everyone around them.

Don Lemon, Klansman

The insufferable, always self-righteous, forever disgraced and clownish former CNN talking head invaded a house of worship with the intention to intimidate the saints gathered there and to ingratiate himself to the leftist tribe that is tearing the country apart. He was not committing journalism and it’s fitting that he was arrested and charged with violating the the Enforcement Act of 1871, also known as the Ku Klux Klan Act.

Claims that journalism is under attack because of the arrest are worse than nonsense, they are rantings of the most contemptible people in this country. Harassing churchgoers who are looking for some peace outside the violent world the left is manufacturing is vicious and mean-spirited.

By the way, Donnie, we’d like to you see invade a mosque while members are praying.

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz And Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey Found Guilty Of Being Weasels

There’s no law against being a weasel, nor should there be. But weasels should never hold public office. Somehow both of these politicians are simultaneously shameless stooges and corrupt, if not criminally, at least morally and intellectually. Both have also allowed themselves to be compromised and co-opted by anti-American interests. How anyone could vote for either of these buffoons is a riddle wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma, to borrow a phrase. Please grow up, Minnesota voters.

Gavin Newsom Decides Not To Run For President, Retires From Politics

This one will never happen because Newsom, like so many other professional politicians on the left, has neither the experience nor the skills to do anything else with his life other than run for office. Political office is a sanctuary for the incompetent, the busybodies, the power-mad, the corrupt, the greedy and a usually safe refuge for worst scoundrels among us.

Newsom is in that cohort of the worst of the worst. The state he’s governed for seven years is fraud central, is impossibly expensive to live in, has forced businesses to flee and robbed people of their livelihoods. He smiled while Los Angeles burned and will do most anything to further his political ambitions. We’d all be better if he’d at least try something else, maybe learn to stock groceries at a neighborhood store.

Puerile Protesters Admit Their Chants And Slogans Are Childish, Ineffective And Cringey

Surely no one in this country with a functioning mind is persuaded by dimwits yawping “ice out now,” “no ICE, no KKK, no fascist USA,” “down, down with deportation,” “free, free Palestine,” “I can’t breathe,” “black lives matter,” “no justice, no peace” and on and on until our ears feel as if they’ve been raped. If the country is to get beyond the division being sown by Democrats, we need civil discourse, not banshee screams and childish celebrities who were proud to wear the ribbon even if their “cause” is unworthy of that description.

Politics by bumper sticker is a constitutional right, but it’s far too shallow to have meaning. As this sharp fellow notes, the “chants only work if you turn your brain off” because “they don’t make an argument, they’re just stacking buzzwords until they try and sound moral — they’re virtue signaling.”

We’d prefer to write headlines that lead readers into editorials about America’s star rising as it never has before, national unity, a newfound respect for others and their ideas (and their votes), the return of American pride, a reenergized defense of Western civilization, a reawakening of academics in our schools and universities. But those will have to wait until the Democrats regain their senses — which might take an entire generation, given how deranged they’ve become.
