A report from a group of international researchers shows that temperatures in Greenland aren’t cooperating with the alarmists’ doomsday predictions. In fact, “most areas are cooling.” This is inconvenient for the climate harpies who have designated Greenland as an indicator of what man-made carbon dioxide emissions are doing to the planet.
Not three months ago, the World Economic Forum eagerly mentioned a study that predicted that a “total collapse” of Greenland’s ice sheet “could happen by 2025.” Last year, a Washington Post scare-’em-all headline declared “Greenland glacier’s rapid melting may signal faster sea level rise.” In another of the many examples we could cite, AZoCleantech.com has claimed that Greenland’s changing landscape signals a global threat.
Now back to the researchers: Using satellite readings, they determined that “the ice-free sub-regions of Greenland are warmer than the ice-covered sub-regions,” which they attribute “to population density.” Overall, though, there was no significant change in Greenland’s temperature for the period studied, 2000 to 2019. They further noted that “in coastal southern Greenland, the temperature during 1958-2001 showed a significant cooling.”
And those ice-covered sub-regions they studied? They found “no evidence of warming over” ice-covered areas. Yes, this thrusts another deep gash into the politically spun global warming yarn.

You can’t fix something that isn’t real. I’m not sure how this has anything to do with Trump. Most of the information you cite is fairly old and the pattern of alarmist concerns being wrong can be tracked back over a hundred years. Scripture says in the end man will worship the creation and not the creator. That is what this obsession is all about and it’s going nowhere. There is an entire religion now built around the false narrative of global warming. Thinking that facts are going to change people’s minds that have them already made up has show to be ineffective. It’s easier to fool People than to convince them they were fooled.
Giving Trump the credit is odd considering he is the living embodiment of that motto. He was responsible for the entire pandemic. None of the draconian measures, mandates, vaccine, etc would have ever happened had he listened to the over 200 credible physicians and scientists over the one failed career bureaucrat. That was his choice and he owns the entire thing. Once Fauci was put in front of a camera and scared everyone Trump lost control of the situation and it spun out of control from there.
In spite of the irrefutable proof the vaccine provides no protection from the virus ironically making people more susceptible to getting covid repeatedly and has more deadly side effects than it provides protection Trump was still out there claiming how many lives he saved from it only 4 months ago. Then he nominates a surgeon general who doesn’t know that masks cannot filter viruses and was onboard with the shutdown, mask and vaccine mandates as well as someone who violated the constitutional rights of a Pastor by arresting him for having church services and then having a press conference to brag about it to another post.
This is Trumps legacy. If he ignores addressing and preventing a reoccurrence of the governmental attempt at grabbing power and forcing people to take an experimental untested vaccine while the government is suppressing and preventing physicians from using what they knew to be known cures which was Ivermectin, hydrochloroquine and interferon. They were given a report by DARPA in 2020 saying all three of those drugs were not only effective treatments but curative for Coronaviruses.
Fixing the Justice Department, Trying to stop the global warming nazis, Cleaning up the FBI, Holding the bad actors engaging in lawfare accountable……
None of it will mean anything if we are dead or forced to line up for another unsafe vaccine. Trumps priorities are askew and so are the publics as they push these fringe issues that are not the primary issue facing the Nation. Preventing a reoccurrence of the Pandemic is the single most important thing that needs to be addressed above everything else. Yet Trump wants to keep it in the rear view mirror and is even rewarding some of the worse people involved to positions in government which absolutely should not happen.
I suggest we stop focusing on shiny objects and push Trump to do his primary job. If he doesn’t address the pandemic and cleans up the rest of Washington he will be looked at down the road the next time we are having our rights stripped away that those victories were for nothing and his Presidency was the greatest failure given the potential it had to actually do something.
It’s a shame you didn’t vote for President Trump! How do I know; not once In your post did you refer to him as president. President Trump will not require any pressure from anyone to do what is right for America. It’s improbable that even non-Trump voters are satisfied with the disaster of the past four years.
You can sit back and criticize, mirroring the corrupt press or you can join in and help. If all you can do is pray for America and the Trump admin that’s fine.

Follow the money…if global warming was a real threat and sea levels were rising then you wouldn’t see ANY new construction of multi-billion-dollar high rise projects in Miami. None. Instead, I see them booming. The bankers that finance these projects are not stupid.

Our “scientists” and “medical experts” used the supposed environmental crisis and the COVID crisis to scare us into believing what facts didn’t show. They used their pedigrees and resumes to impress us, then to scare us.
It worked at first. But with the COVID crisis now everyone is looking at the fine print more closely.

So climate isn’t a year to year thing. It has peaks and valleys but the aggregation of those is what reveals climate change. We had a La Niña event last year which cooled the west coast. Also if you observe the milankovitch planetary cycles we should be in a cooling trend, which we are not. We should be monitoring and reporting on years when ice sheets grow, but we should also put them in context with the general trend over the surrounding years. Do your homework!

Climate change alarmism is a theological belief. It is a secular religion that, for 1st-world Leftists has replaced the Judeo-Christian beliefs that they consider outmodes and an object of scorn. Even a cursory reading of the Old Testament Prophet will reveal a fundamental belief in man-made climate change Hailstorms, extreme heat, drought, famine and plagues of locusts were routinely the fate of those who had behaved badly. Need I say more that “Noah’s Flood?” The belief that mortal wrongdoing causes bad weather was not limited to the Jews. When Agamemnon, High King of the Greeks, angered the Goddess Artemis, she reined in the winds and would not allow the Greek fleet to sail to Trou until the King had sacrificed his own teenage daughter. No to mention the mysterious famine that afflicted Thebes because of the sins of King Oedipus. Of course, there were all those rites engaged in by ancient societies to ensure a bountiful harvest. The Church of Climate Change is just the latest avatar of a very old religion, the sins of mankind will be reflected in undesirable natural events.
This article is written in a misleading and intentionally sensational way. If we want to argue from facts, let’s actually use facts in context and not cherry pick from or misinterpret scientific papers.
I strongly suggest anyone who reads the article also reads the cited study – there’s a link in the article.
First, it’s true the study finds that Greenland land temperatures are relatively stable; have fluctuated both up and down at different periods over time; and have on average cooled recently. Those are facts from the study.
Second, it’s also true the study assumes sea levels are rising and provides evidence proving it, and that the melting Greenland ice sheet is a genuine climate problem. For example, the study states, “Climate scientists appear to be justified in raising their concerns about the decrease in ice in Greenland.”
The study also indicates other factors such as El Niño or limitations in the MODIS satellite capabilities may be influencing their temperature findings.
Taken in context and as a whole, the study says absolutely nothing that either contradicts or supports the theory that human carbon emissions are causing global warming.
Astronauts typically express awe and even love for the beautiful Earth below while they’re in orbit. I wonder how they feel when seeing the immense consequential pollution from raging massive forest/brush fires — like the ones that viciously consume largely-Canadian forests and choke the air with health-damaging particulates every year basically due to human-caused global warming?

Incredibly, in the midst of yet another unprecedented wildfire three summers ago, the evangelical-Christian president declared that his presidency — and, I presume, all of the formidable environmental damage he inflicts while in power — is somehow divine:

Canada’s previous prime minister, the also thinly-veiled-theocratic Evangelical Stephen Harper, was similarly unrelenting in his pro-fossil-fuel/anti-natural-environment war against science.
There’s a generally shared bizarre belief amongst such ‘Christians’ that to defend the natural environment from the planet’s greatest polluters, notably big fossil fuel, is to go against God’s will and is therefore inherently evil.
Some even credit the bone-dry-vegetation areas uncontrollably burning in California each year to some divine wrath upon collective humankind’s ‘sinfulness’. … Apparently, there is a serious hazard in such theologically inclined people getting into and remaining in high office.
