Who We Are As A Country

As Donald Trump’s election victory was becoming apparent, the Washington Post’s Jonathan Capehart asked “Who are we as a country?” then declared “we are starting to find out, and from what I’m seeing right now, I’m not sure I like it.” Meanwhile, Joy Reid of MSNBC insisted that “We need to really take a step back and think about: What does that say about us?”

Similar questions were asked over and over during the campaign by Democrats and the media who are perpetually angry they have to share a nation with “garbage,” “deplorables” and “fascists.” And we have an answer.

This is a nation that is truly diverse in so many ways, ethnically, racially, economically and, to the annoyance of the left, politically.

That diversity produced more than 71 million Americans who voted against a candidate who has Marxist roots; holds hard-left positions that she temporarily discarded because she thought doing so would make her more electable; made it almost to the top political slot in the world based not on merit but her association with California power broker Willie Brown. A candidate who was so obviously a phony, a media creation, a midwit, an unserious yet duplicitous person who shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near the levers of political power.

And we’re sure we like that.

  • President Trump won the absolute mandate in both the electoral college and. more importantly, the overall popular vote. Now we can get to work undoing the damage that the democrat (communists) have done.

  • Looking forward to a lot of cleansing in America. The fourth estate will be diminished in power by the time we get to the next election. A big win for free speech!

  • If Jonathan Capehart and joy reed prefer communism then they can go live in a communist country.

  • I absolutely love the comments from all the leftwing pundits, media, and surrogates. They cannot reflect on the why, because they believe they are of superior intellect to all the deplorable Americans who do not reside in their little bubbles. This election was not just a referendum on this administration, but on the MSM, Hollywood, and the coastal Elites. These people truly have psychological problems, and it’s funny watching them implode right in front of our eyes.

  • When Kamala disavowed pretty much all of her previous (mostly liberal) views. The writing was on the wall. She compounded that issue with her refusal to elucidate even one of her policies in her few news interviews. She even stated, more than once, that there were no policies of the Biden administration she would change. Really, it’s a wonder that she received the number of votes that she did. When they vote, the American electorate refuses to be bamboozled.
