We are delighted to announce that we will now be featuring Michael Ramirez’s cartoons on Issues & Insights. Michael is a talent without peer. He’s better informed about the issues than any journalist, has keener insights than any pundit, and is funnier than any political comedian. On top of all that he is a brilliant cartoonist who every day creates a work of art that you never tire of looking at. If there was any justice in the world, the Pulitzer Prize committee would stop giving an award for political cartooning until Michael retires, or just give it to him every year. At least they’ve seen fit to award him two, one of which he received while at Investor’s Business Daily.
Issues & Insights is a new site formed by the seasoned journalists behind the legendary IBD Editorials page. We’re just getting started, and we’ll be adding new features as time permits. We’re doing this on a voluntary basis, because we believe the nation needs the kind of cogent, rational, data-driven, fact-based commentary that we can provide.
